Elbert Co School Closures Imminent?

The word out of Elbert County is that the two elementary schools that would be closed in a budget-saving move are Bowman Elementary and Beaver Dam Elementary. The Elbert County School Board could approve in a matter of weeks the plan that would close the schools at the end of the current school year. The Board is looking at a $1.6 million budget shortfall.
